Thanks to the hardwork of Topcoat Asphalt Technical Manager, Rod McArthur, Topcoat were recently awarded a significant grant to trial a Gap Graded Crumb Rubber Asphalt with 6 councils within South Australia. The participating councils include: City of Mitcham, City of Onkaparinga, City of Port Adelaide Enfield, City of Campbelltown, City of West Torrens and City of Salisbury. The trial will enable see a road within each council area resurfaced with the Gap Graded Crumb Rubber Asphalt. A portion of the grant was used to upgrade our laboratory equipment to allow for state of the art testing of the Crumb Rubber Asphalt.
